Settings in the WordPress Admin
These settings configure the backend functionality of the POS application, including PHP and WooCommerce configurations.
You can access them by navigating to: WP Admin > POS > Settings
Key configurations include:
- Default cart customer for all cashiers.
- Product barcode field.
- Order email settings.
- User role permissions.

The General Settings page allows you to configure core WCPOS functionality. These settings affect how products are displayed, how quantities are handled, and how barcode scanning works.
📄️ Access
To control access to the WCPOS functionality, you can utilise WordPress capabilities and user roles. By assigning specific roles to users and configuring their capabilities, you can tailor the access levels for different POS users. The WCPOS plugin integrates with the existing WordPress roles and introduces a specific role for cashiers.
